Brilliant Bees

Brilliant bees. The Nuc was brimming with bees, and all nice new wax.
We transferred into a national hive.

We had plenty of questions throughout the year and the team helped us every step of the way. We followed their suggestions and ended the season on double brood, 2 supers all drawn out and 28kg of honey and with the help of a virgin queen from Charlie, we have a nucleus colony overwintering in the paynes nuc they arrived in to act as a backup or a 2nd hive next spring. We have learnt so much in the year and feel very confident going into winter with two healthy hives!
