How old are the hive and frames?
All frames, combs and hives are less than 8 months old and the hive is brand new.

Does this include supers?
This hive is a standard national brood box only. You just need to add Abelo 12 frame supers. For established hives of this quality we suggest a minimum of 2 supers are needed.

What type of Honey Bees are these?
The Honey bees in our established full sized hives are our fabulous Dorset Buckfast. These bees are superb for garden beekeeping. They are gentle in nature, build up fast, gather fantastic amounts of pollen and Nectar and over winter in our Dorset apiaries very well.

Yes. This offer is exclusive to Dorset beekeepers. Due to the size and number of bees in these colonies, we only deliver in person or they can be collected direct from the beefarm.
