About Our Carniolan Nucs

Gentle, Productive Carniolan Bees

Our Carniolan nucleus colonies are headed by a UK-mated Carniolan queen, renowned for her gentle nature, rapid spring build-up, and impressive honey yields. These bees adapt well to UK conditions, building strong colonies that expand quickly during nectar flows.

Each nuc is raised in Dorset and supplied in a durable poly nuc box with brood at all stages, pollen, and capped honey stores — giving your apiary the best possible start with Carniolan genetics.

Availability for Carniolan Nucs

  • Overwintered Carniolan Nucs – available from April
  • Spring Carniolan Nucs – available from May
  • Summer Carniolan Nucs – available from June

Choose the timing that fits your beekeeping season — each option comes with a UK-mated Carniolan queen for rapid build-up and strong honey production potential.

absolutely perfect service

It was a great pleasure meeting and dealing with Charlie who very clearly is an extremely knowledgable apiarist he introduced the bees and the queen bee into my hobby bee hive in the most professional manner explaining every detail most clearly his after sales service is exceptional and I highly reccommend Charlie to anyone who has an interest in Bee Keeping. Charlie travelled a great distance to personally deliver my swarm of bees and install them in the hive . I will most certainly keep using him .

Very helpful

I had a few questions that I wanted to speak to someone about before jumping in. I rang the number and spoke to Charlie. He answered all of my questions and we discussed a few options. I was really grateful, and reassured that I can have guidance in my first year. Order placed. Looking forward to my first nuc of bees.
